Partner Andrew Smith has commented in The Telegraph on Carlos Ghosn’s wish to face trial in Lebanon rather than Japan.
“Japan will no doubt resist any attempt to cede jurisdiction to Lebanon, not just because Lebanon has no apparent links to the alleged offences, but because Mr Ghosn has humiliated the Japanese criminal justice system by fleeing in such an audacious manner,” Andrew Smith stated.
