Back in the USSR
Law Society president Nicholas Fluck flew to Moscow this week to “promote the reputation of English Law in Russia”. Let’s hope a plea will be made for the arrested Greenpeace campaigners who, if naive, are not hooligans. For Moscow to acknowledge that would do much to “promote the reputation of Russian law in England”. At least Kieron Bryan is now on bail, thanks to lawyer Robert Brown; St Petersburg Bar advocates and Citizens Watch.
