Partner David Corker has been quoted in The Telegraph on the errors in evidence disclosure by the SFO, last month, which led to the collapse of a trial of two former Serco executives, Nicholas Woods and Simon Marshall, who were accused of “fraud on the taxpayer”.
“The SFO could have appealed the ruling, but they didn’t do that. I suspect they didn’t because they knew their case was legally unsound and disclosure was the lesser of two evils to collapse the case on,” says David.
