Today Partner David Corker will be part of a panel of leading lawyers discussing investigations in the UK, following Rolls-Royce’s landmark DPA with the Serious Fraud Office, at the 3rd Annual GIR Live London.
The conference will kick off with a keynote address by Alun Milford, followed by a panel that will discuss DPAs in the UK and whether the Rolls-Royce matter will open the floodgates for DPAs in the UK – or whether it was a bespoke result for one of the UK’s most prestigious companies.
A second panel will discuss the anonymity of individuals in settlements by companies, changes to suspicious activity reports under the Criminal Finance Bill, UK corporate criminal liability reforms, and the impact of changes to the regime for section 2 interviews.
