Edward Grange contributes to Fair Trials training module on cross border criminal justice and human rights

Partner Edward Grange has contributed to a new Fair Trials online training module for criminal defence lawyers. The course, on cross border criminal justice and human rights, contains contributions from leading extradition lawyers.

The course has a special focus on the European Arrest Warrant, and has been made possible thanks to generous support from the Legal Education Foundation.

This training, designed by lawyers for lawyers, will help to provide practical guidance that not only increases knowledge of European human rights standards, but explains how to use these standards and enforcement mechanisms in a way that can protect defendants’ rights.

The training is the latest in an ongoing series of online learning sessions, entitled Cross-Border Cases and Human Rights, which analyse European extradition law and outline how lawyers can successfully develop human rights-based arguments in cross-border cases.
