Partner, Edward Grange, has been quoted by PA Media about the recent developments in the Sara Sharif case.
It’s been revealed that the Pakistani Police are seeking to arrest a man in connection with the murder of the 10-year-old in Surrey. However, with no formal extradition treaty in place between the UK and Pakistan, Edward said it’s a “slower process” as the “two governments have to enter into a memorandum of understanding for the extradition of the named individual.” He added that there are “at least two or three examples” of people being returned from Pakistan to the UK, but none the other way around.
