In internal investigations, flashpoints can arise concerning how the company deals with individuals. But in corporate internal investigations there is no developed legal framework to address these. In the absence of developed law or policy, what are the principles that determine how lawyers from either side manage the relationship between, on the one hand, an employer company and, on the other, an employee?
