Jessica Parker appointed Vice Chair of the IBA’s Business Crime Committee

Corker Binning partner, Jessica Parker, has been appointed Vice Chair of the Business Crime Committee, to serve from 01 January 2015 to 31 December 2016.

The IBA’s Business Crime Committee promotes awareness within the business community and among transactional lawyers of the growing significance of legal compliance. The committee has recently been focusing on the new trends of international cooperation in criminal matters. Topics covered in recent seminars and conferences include discussions on money laundering issues and on the new legal framework designed to combat bribery and corrupt practices in international business transactions.
