Partner Jessica Partner, Senior Vice Chair of the Business Crime Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA), is attending the IBA’s Annual Conference 2018 in Rome from 7th-12th October 2018.
On Tuesday, 9 October, Jessica will be co-chairing the session on ‘Corruption, doping and match-fixing in sport”, presented by the Business Crime Committee, the Criminal Law Committee and the Sports Law Subcommittee.
The session will discuss: how is corruption in sport evolving into a global public policy issue? What are the key points in criminal defence work? The session, focusing on these original and relevant issues, will consider this issue depth, with multidisciplinary contributions and references to real court cases.
