Andrew Smith will be discussing enforcement of export and trade controls in the UK, outlining the risk factors that make a criminal prosecution (as opposed to a civil settlement) more probable; the likely punishment which convicted exporters can expect to receive; and the tactical considerations which businesses should bear in mind if faced with the threat of criminal proceedings, including the issue of compound penalties.
The event is due to take place in London on 14th-15th November 2013.
