Jessica Parker quoted in FT and Law360 on payments firm fined record £23.8m for AML failings

Partner Jessica Parker has been quoted in the Financial Times and Law360 on HMRC issuing a record-breaking fine of £23.8 million to a payments firm for anti-money laundering failings.

“The record fine issued to MT Global today is the latest in a line of cases pursued by HMRC against money services businesses. This industry has been a focus of HMRC’s money laundering compliance activity for some time,” she said.
